Maudde comes from the belief of it's founders that the life of a luxury item goes far beyond the life most people give it. Because of the quality of the materials, and the way the items are carefully made, these products can easily last a lifetime. But what actually happens is that most of them end up forgotten in a wardrobe after few times of use.
On the other hand, Maudde also arises from the awareness that is urgent for the fashion industry to move towards a more sustainable paradigm, for the sake of it's own survival. This is one of the most polluting industries in the world, to wich are also associated many serious social problems that arise publicly from time to time.
That's why we have choosen to create a business model that promotes circular economy through the reuse of luxury pieces. A solution with wich we intend to contribute to the paradigm shift, wich we believe is just in the beginning.
